Zuheir Elmengawi and Mohammed Jilwal got Libya's goals.

Senegal got off to the best start as Diassy put them 2-0 ahead in the third and seventh minute in the first period.

Libya got back into the game in the first minute of the second period with Elmengawi pulling a goal back for them to make it 2-1.

But two quick goals from Diassy and Sylla restored Senegal's two goal lea, putting them 4-1 ahead in sixth and seventh minute.

With less than five minutes left in the second period, Diassy and Faye scored to give Senegal a 6-1 lead.

And in the last seconds of the second period, Jilwal was on target making it 6-2 before the end of that period.

Any hopes of a comeback for Libya in the third period was wiped out as Senegal pulled away, scoring four more goals through Fall, Barry (brace) and Sylla, to secure the comfortable win.
