Coach of Nigeria Super Sand Eagles, Audu Adamu has expressed confidence that his team will be ready to face Group B opponents Mexico and Italy at the 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Bahamas in April.
This year's Beach Soccer World Cup is slated for 27 April to 7 May.
In the draws that was held on Tuesday, the Sand Eagles were drawn in Group B alongside Mexico, Italy and Asian Football Confederation champions.
Reacting to the Super Sand Eagles group opponents and their chances, Audu told thenff.com that he believes his team have enough experience to do well at this year's Beach Soccer World Cup.
" We have defeated Mexico in the past, we know they have a strong team, we will use the experience we have gathered to face them. Even Italy, we understand how they play.
"I must say we will be ready to confront all the teams when the tournament kicks off." Adamu stated.
This will be the Super Sand Eagles fifth appearance at the Beach Soccer World Cup after featuring in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011.
Both the Super Sand Eagles and Senegal (who beat Super Sand Eagles in the final of the African qualifiers in 2016) will represent Africa at this year's edition.
