Former England international David Beckham was reportedly involved in a car crash after he picked up his son Brooklyn from Arsenal’s training facilities in Hertfordshire on Saturday morning.
The incident is thought to have occurred after Beckham collected his 15-year-old son – who plays for the Gunners’ under-16 side – in his Audi before the crash took place with another vehicle.
Beckham and his son were not hurt in the crash, although they were said to be ‘shaken’ by the incident.
A source, who is believed to be close to the Beckham family, told The Telegraph: ‘They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang, but thankfully everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine.’
Another source said: ‘The oncoming car was going at quite a speed.’
Brooklyn is thought to have signed for Arsenal on a short-term contract in early November after impressing during training sessions with the north London outfit.
