Beijing 2015: Bolt Leads Jamaica To Relay Gold

Usain Bolt led the Jamaican 4x100m men’s team to the gold medal at the Beijing 2015 IAAF World Championships as he secured a sweep of the sprint golds at a World Championship for the third time on Saturday.

The 29-year-old, who had already won the 100m and 200m events, ran the anchor leg as the Jamaicans took gold in 37.36 seconds at the Bird’s Nest Stadium.

The United States team featuring Justin Gatlin, who won silver behind Bolt in both individual sprints, messed up their final handover, like Great Britain who didn’t finish, to be disqualified.

Hosts China were elevated from third place to second place after the US were disqualified, while Canada moved up to third.
