Former Portugal international and Head Coach, Paulo Bento, has been appointed as the new manager of Olympiakos where Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye plies his trade.
According to greekreporter.com, Bento was confirmed as the new coach after meeting with Olympiakos' officials late on Monday.
The 47-year-old takes over from Spanish manager, Victor Sanchez who was fired after few games in charge.
Bento's official presentation as Olympiakos' new coach will is place taking place on Tuesday.
In 1992, Bento made his debut for Portugal's senior national team and retired from international football after Korea/Japan 2002 World Cup.
He took over as Portugal's Head Coach in 2010 and qualified them for the 2012 European Champion and the 2014 World Cup.
