According to reports in France, Paris Saint-Germain are set to sign Bayern Munich left-back Juan Bernat. Sources in Paris claim Bernat is now PSG’s No.1 choice after they failed to meet Atletico Madrid’s demands for 33-year-old Filipe Luis.
The Ligue 1 champions have already been linked with Tottenham’s Danny Rose but Thomas Tuchel has failed with his previous attempts to sign a new left-back.
Bernat, a Spain international, is now set to sign a three-year deal at the Parc des Princes.
Reports claim the two clubs have agreed a €15million fee for the defender, with the 25-year-old set to move before Friday’s transfer deadline.
PSG could help their Financial Fair Play regulations by also offloading goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, who is in talks about a loan move to Nice.
