President of Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Bitrus Bewarang, has said that Stephen Keshi deserves no pity over his sacking as the head coach of the Super Eagles by the Nigeria Football Federation last Saturday.
Bewarang blamed Keshi for being the architect of his downfall, noting that no coach can do it alone like Keshi tried to do in alienating himself from his fellow coaches.
He said the NFCA cannot help Keshi because he is not a member and because he never wanted anything to do with the coaches association despite several attempts to make him join the body, adding that they cannot fault the NFF for their action because they dont know the terms of his contract.
“If Keshi feels agrieved or that he did not breach the terms of his contract, he can appeal to the appropriate athourities or to the NFF, otherwise he should move on with his life. NFCA cannot help him,” the coaches’ boss stated.
Keshi was fired last Saturday after the NFF disciplinary committee found him guilty of breach of contract by applying for the coaching of Ivory Coast while holding on to the Super Eagles job.
