Director of rugby Todd Blackadder has signed a new one-year contract extension with the Premiership outfit, according to reports. The 47-year-old former All Blacks captain, who joined Bath from the Crusaders in 2016, is inside the final 12 months of the three-year contract he signed on his arrival at the Recreation Ground.
And, having recently rubbished reports that owner Craig Bruce was on the verge of sacking him, describing them as “absolute lies”, the Daily Mail has suggested that he has agreed a new ‘long-term’ contract to stay on board and continue to oversee Bath’s future strategic plan.
However, the local press is claiming that Blackadder has penned a contract to remain on board for another 12 months until the end of the 2020 season.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
