Omar Bogle admits he was growing frustrated with his lack of action at Cardiff and hopes to prove his worth on loan at Birmingham. The 25-year-old returned to the club where he had come through the academy as a youngster on a season-long loan having been told by Neil Warnock he was unlikely to feature for the Bluebirds this season.
Bogle managed 12 appearances for Cardiff last term, scoring three times, before being sent on loan to Peterborough for the second half of the campaign.
The striker has made five appearances for Birmingham this season and says he’s relishing the chance to get his career back on track having been left disappointed by his lack of chances for Cardiff since making the move last summer.
“It’s a fresh start for me,” he told the Birmingham Mail. “Over that time there has been injuries, this and that – loads of different reasons but I have come here to play games, ultimately help the team and the club do better.
“I wouldn’t say I fell out of love with it but you do get frustrated. A lot of the times over the last year it has been out of my control, you get frustrated at that.
“But I have always had the belief that I am going to be playing somewhere and doing well, so it was only a matter of time really.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
