Bonfrere: Eagles More Formidable Now Under Rohr

Atlanta 1996 Olympic gold medal winning coach with Nigeria U-23 Eagles, Jo Bonfrere, has described the current Super Eagles team as more organised under Gernot Rohr.

Bonfrere made this known in a chat with cafonline.com ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier between the Super Eagles and the Chipolopolo of Zambia in Uyo on Saturday.

A win against Zambia will secure a sixth World Cup appearance for the Eagles after making their debut at the 1994 World Cup in the USA.

“In Brazil (2014), the Super Eagles were poor,” Bonfrere who was assistant to countryman Clemence Westerhor when the Eagles qualified for USA 1994 World Cup remarked.

“Now there is organisation in the team because the coach has put a good Super Eagles team together,” The 2000 Africa Cup of Nations silver medal winner with the Super Eagles said.

In the reverse fixture in Ndola in October 2016, the Eagles won 2-1 thanks to goals from Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho. Zambia’s goal was scored by Collins Mbesuma.

Why cant this Jo Bonfrere leave Nigeria alone at this time. Bonfrere had his time with us over twenty year ago, why now ? NFF have no vacant job for your type and Nigerians will never stand by and allow you to come back to manage the team you heartlessly ran away from the last time you were here. What is a 74 years old man , who has lost it all got to do with managing a team like super eagle at a time when the current coach placed us at number 3 in Africa or thirty one Globally. As a 74 year old Whiteman, you may be suffering from a very common illness in Holland which they call ‘acute dementia.’ Jo input is not needed. Your interference is causing us pain and a distraction at this moment. Clemence Westerhor is far more successful coach than Bonfrere ever done for Nigeria football. Please bonfrere, go away from Nigeria football. Go seek a cure for your illness. Everybody in Nigeria knows that bonfrere is a sick man with dementia.

Some Nigerians don’t read between the lines. This  man is after something, but won’t declare what it is outright. He thinks he can fool all the people all the time. Many gullible fellows have already fallen to his devious antics, when he accused his former boss of selling a WC match.

Why did he wait until now to make the accusation? We all know that at 74 you must pass a psychometric test before you are registered to continue your profession her in the West. Are those calling for his return aware of this?

This crook who abandoned us midstream is just capitalising on playing on our emotions.

Will NFF fall for it and scuttle our growth?
