Middlesbrough boss,Aitor Karanka has hailed Super Eagles defender,Kenneth Omeruo after the Nigerian put up a five star display in the club’s 2-0 defeat of Birmingham at the Riverside.
Omeruo came in for Ben Gibson when the defender copped a hamstring injury after just 30 seconds into the game. “Ken is growing every single minute,” says Karanka.
“He came here seven months ago and didn’t play too many games. But now he looked like he has played 10-15 years at this level. I’m very, very happy with him.
“Omeruo now looks a better player and an experienced player. For him to play at the World Cup gave him a lot of confidence and I didn’t have any doubts about bringing him in on loan, as I know him very well.’
