Brazil Edge Flying Eagles In Thriller

Brazil Edge Flying Eagles In Thriller

Brazil’s U-20 team maintained their historic record of not losing to Nigeria when they defeated the Flying Eagles 4-2 in a thrilling clash on Monday at the Taranaki Stadium in New Plymouth, New Zealand.

A brace from Judivan Flor da Silva and strikes from Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Boschila cancelled out first half goals from Isaac Success and Musa Yahaya for the Flying Eagles.

The Flying Eagles started with an attacking force of Success, Kelechi Iheanacho, Yahaya and Taiwo Awoniyi but it was the Brazilians who drew first blood in the fourth minute through Jesus.

Success equalised for Nigeria six minutes later when he rounded the Brazil keeper Jean and scored after a delightful through ball from Yahaya.

The absolutely entertaining first half ended 2-2 after further goals from Yahaya and Judivan.

But Brazil were much the better team in the second half, creating chances at will and profiting twice from goalkeeping blunders off Joshua Enaholo.

Awoniyi thrice wasted clear cut chances as the reigning African champions failed to nail the Junior Selecaos when they had the chance in the first half.

The Flying Eagles face North Korea in their next game on Thursday.

Hmm, the same story the same sscene it is clear now that our indigenous coaches are not good enough. I’m a Manu Garba fan but the man failed Nigeria. Why Nigerian coaches can’t manage success? From Keshi to Manu Garba! Why did he changed his winning team and his patterns of play? Where is Abubarka and Okon? They are been dropped for these players. Corruptions. Hmm, now he have paid the price! He doesn’t know what to do! Late sub, that’s Nigeria coaches for you. Brazil wasn’t a good team in today’s match but Manu Garba couldn’t tell his boys to calm down and play their game . NFF also failed Nigerians for the new jersey. The new jersey is too bad.
    Solution to the problem:
Garba needs to make some changes to his first eleven. Problem solved! They can still qualify but can they play well against big teams? And another problem is, they talk too much! You don’t talk too much but you prove yourself on the field of play. Both Manu Garba and his team did that before the match against Brazil and they were punished because, when ever you feel that you are on top of the world, that’s the beginning of ta failure. As I always said, you do good, I hail you and you do the opposite, you get nailed. A word is enough for the wise. God bless Nigeria!

The boys hav tried their best,i believe they hav learnt their lessons from brazil match,so as to prepare for their next games, lets not blame anyone yet,i see them going through the group stage#as always#

  • Too many talks, little work…
    Technical indept makes the difference..
The boys are good, but they feel on top of the World
The Coaches makes them believe so….That is a minus
No team is unbeatable, they should always remember that..
They should work harder and play as if they lives depend on it if they are to get to the semis
Good luck to Garba and his Flying Eagles bos

dele Alampasu should be used for the next match

The boys tried but they fail to take their chances. They should have killed the game in the first half but Awoniyi waisted it all.
Again, the keeper, Enaholo, is not confident enough. He is afraid of big games, so Alampasu should used. Good luck to them.
