Former Flying Eagles star Bernard Bulbwa was on target for Esperance in their 4-1 win at home against Stade Tunisien in a Tunisian league clash on Friday night.
Bulbwa scored in the 26th minute to put Esperance 2-0 up in the match. It was his second of the campaign.
His Nigerian team-mate Emem Eduok did not feature for Esperance.
Also on Friday, Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was in action for Gent as they thrashed visiting Westerlo 5-0 in the Belgian Jupiler League.
Simon came off the bench in the 66th minute to replace Kenneth Saief.
He was on target for the Eagles in their 2-0 win against Swaziland in the 2018 World Cup qualifier on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
In England Alex Iwobi was in action for Arsenal's U-21s but couldn't prevent them from losing 1-0 to Stoke's U-21 side.
Oliver Shenton grab the only goal of the game in the 31st minute.
Iwobi was however substituted in the 46th minute by Ismael Bennacer.
The skillful winger was in the Eagles squad for the World Cup qualifier against Swaziland but didn't get to play in both legs of the qualifier.
