Bulgarian League: Eze Uncertain About Locomotiv Plovdiv Future

Locomotiv Plovdiv defender, Stephen Eze has stated that there are no guarantee that he will be at the club next season, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Eze joined the club on a two year deal from Kano Pillars in January shortly after an impressive performance at the African Nations Championship (CHAN)  in Morocco.


“I like everything in Lokomotiv and Plovdiv. I hope to stay, but I cannot guarantee that 100%,” Eze told mobile.sportal.bg.

“I want to congratulate the coaching staff, which motivated us all the time. We have raised our level significantly and that is to them.”

The 24 year old who is one of the ten defenders listed in the Super Eagles 30-man provisional squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia revealed that he will do his best to make the final team.

“All 30 players who are on Nigeria’s provisional squad list will try to make the most of the opportunity handed them to play at the World Cup,” Eze told mobile. sportal.bg.

Eze made 13 appearances for Locomotiv Plovdiv in all competitions this season.

He is expected to arrive in the Super Eagles’ camp in Uyo on Tuesday.
