Turkish side Bursaspor have terminated their contract with out-of-favour former Super Eagles left-back, Taye Taiwo.
According to Turkish-football.com, the Green Crocodiles released a statement on their official website confirming the news.
The statement reads, “Our club have reached an agreement with Taye Taiwo to mutually terminate his contract.
Taiwo who has not made an appearance for Bursaspor this season joined the Turkish Super League side in July 2013.
The left back, born on April 16, 1985 has previously played for Olympique Marseille, AC Milan, Queens Park Rangers and Dinamo Kiev.
Taiwo made a total of 27 appearances for Bursaspor since joining.
He has also been capped 54 times by Nigeria and scored 5 goals for the national team.
Bursaspor currently sit in 4th place in the Turkish Super Lig with 47 points in 28 games. The Green Crocodiles take on Kasımpaşa this weekend.
