–Enyimba striker confident People’s Elephant will win in Egypt
After missing the Super Eagles 1-1 draw in Nelspruit with Bafana Bafana of South Africa in an international friendly on Sunday, Enyimba striker, Mfom Udoh says he’s looking forward to the CAF Champions League first round return leg match away to Smouah of Egypt.
Udoh who cracked home a record 23 goals last season, missed the Super Eagles trip on account of dicripances on his international passport.
With Enyimba standing a thread-chance in the game following a slim 1-0 first leg win, Udoh says all focus is now on the crucial Champions League game.
“The South Africa game is behind us now, our focus is on the game with Smouah and we’re determined to win in Alexandra”, the former Akwa United forward said.
“It will be tough because we know the Egyptians are full of antics but we’re prepared for them”.
The People’s Elephant, winners in 2003 and 2004, are currently in camp in Aba and are expected to fly out to Egypt on Friday April 3, 2015.
