–Ahead of Dolphins Second Round tie against the Tunisian side
Dolphins of Port Harcourt manager, Stanley Eguma says his team is in the dark as regards information about his Tunisia opponents in the crucial second round match of the CAF Confederation Cup, Club Africain of Tunisia.
Eguma said such information or video clips of their previous games will help his side to know about the team, their playing pattern and other basic information.
“We don’t know anything about them (Club Africain) except the fact they are a top club in Tunisia and in Africa”, Eguma who won the 2004 CAF Champions League with Enyimba said.
“It’s important we get some necessary information about them so as to help us perfect our own strategy.
“Of course, we know they are one of the top teams in Africa and Tunisia but that’s not enough because we need to know their present squad team, how they play and all that.”
Eguma however expressed delight that his troops were able to break their six-game winless run since the start of the 2015 year.
“I’m happy we scaled through. You know that (game against Vegetenario of Equatorial Guinea) was our first win of the year in all competitions.
“We lost our five games in the Super Six and went to Malabo and lost (0-1) and you can understand the anxiety and pressure the players went through.”
He also revealed they showed interest in signing two of our players, Christian Pyagbara and Victor Alegbe.
“They even offered to pay us $225,000 for the two players and this could have gone up if we were ready for a deal.
“That showed how rich they are, they even came to Nigeria with their official club bus, a coaster, how they got it here we don’t know, whether by air or sea remains a mysery to us”, Eguma said.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
