Nasarawa United coach, Kabiru Dogo, is upbeat on the chances of his side overcoming Algerian side, Club Sportif Constantinois in their next CAF Confederations Cup match despite their poor start to the season, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Solid Miners have lost all three games in the Nigeria Professional Football League this season.
They beat Senegalese side, AS Academie Generation Foot 2-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup, to book a date with the Algerians.
The former Kwara United gaffer believes his side will make a big impact in the competition despite their underdog status.
"We are not happy with the start we have made this season," Dogo informed Completesportsnigeria.com.
"But we are confident of turning things around in our subsequent games.
"We were in a tight corner after the first game against Generation Foot, but we made it through at the end of the day.
"I'm confident we will scale through this hurdle and proceed to the second round."
