CAF To Inspect Uyo Stadium

–Ahead Eagles clash with S/Africa

Ahead of the Super Eagles all important African Cup of Nations duel with Bafana Bafana of South Africa, CAF inspectors are due to storm Nigeria to inspect the ultra modern Akwa Ibom stadium in Uyo before the end of the month.

Complete Sports scooped that CAF had in a letter to the NFF asked to be furnished with details of the new 30,000 capacity stadium and to prepare for inspectors’ visit.

The NFF has responded with details of the stadium, the town and other facilities available with photographs to back it up.

The Super Eagles will slug it out with their South African on November 19.

    While we appreciate the laudable endeavor by the state governor, if there was no maintenance strategy emplaced from the on-set, then we have to think again.
