Super Eagles forward, Junior Ajayi, picked up an injury as Egyptian outfit, Al Ahly beat Botswana’s Township Rollers, 1-0 in their CAF Champions League Group A encounter on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
Ajayi was replaced a minute before half time by Islam Mohareb following the injury.
Salif Coulibaly scored the winning goal for the Al Ahly off a header eight minutes from time.
Al Ahly remain in second position with seven points, three adrift of leaders Esperance of Tunisia who beat KCCA of Uganda in the other group’s fixture also on Saturday.
Al Ahly will face Esperance in their next game on August 17 at the Olympic Stadium, Races.
