Michael Babatunde is looking forward to a brilliant home debut for Wydad Casablanca in tonight’s CAF Champions League clash against Guinean club, Horoya, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Babatunde made his debut for Wydad Casablanca in their 1-1 draw against Horoya in the reverse fixture last week in Conakry and the 25 year old is now targeting a win for his side.
Former Rivers United attacking midfielder Bolaji Sakin is expected to feature for Horoya in the encounter. He came on for Daouda Camara in the 59th minute of the encounter in the first leg in Conakry.
“We have a good goal difference but we need to win to move clear of other teams and boost our qualification chances,” Babatunde told CSN.
“The Group is very tight so we have to make our home advantage count on Saturday with a win which will be my first official home game since I returned to Morocco.”
Wydad Athletic Club top Group C with five points from three games with a superior goal difference to Mamelodi Sundowns’ who defeated Togolese side, Togo-Port 2-1 on Friday in the other Group C fixture to move to second place.
Horoya are third in the group despite having the same points.
