Cameroon Outsmart Ghana To Reach AFCON Final

Cameroon booked their seventh Africa Cup of Nations Cup final by defeating the Black Stars of Ghana 2-0 on Thursday in Franceville, Gabon.
Second half goals from Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui and Christian Bassogog sealed the win for the young Camerounian side.
The Indomitable Lions, who are Nigeria's 2018 World Cup qualifying opponents, will face Egypt in the final 2017 AFCON final in Libreville on Sunday. It will be the third time both teams will be meeting in the final of Africa's top competition.
The Pharaohs of Egypt defeated Cameroon in the 1986 final on penalties 5-4 and were also1-0 winners in the 2008 edition in Ghana.

Ngadeu-Ngadjui's brilliant finish in the 72nd minute off a misplaced flick from John Boye opened the scoring for the four-time winners of the competition.
Bassogog then finished off a brilliant counter-attack after the Black Stars had committed numbers in search of an equaliser in added time.
Ghana's top marksman in the competition Asamoah Gyan came on in the 76th minute to replace Torino's Afriyie Acquah hoping to force the game into extra time.
In the 63rd minute Fabrice Ondoa pulled off a stunning save from Wakaso Mubarak's curling strike from a free-kick.
Ghana will fa e Burkina Faso in the third place match on Saturday.​
