Former Liverpool great Jamie Carragher says he never expected Nigerian forward, Victor Moses, to succeed at Chelsea.
After joining Chelsea in the 2012/2013 season when he won the Europa League with The Blues, Moses spent the next two seasons out on loan at Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham.
But following the appointment of Antonio Conte last summer, Moses has become a regular for the London club who are in the verge of clinching the Premier League title.
Writing in his Daily Mail column, Carragher who won the UEFA Champions League, Europa Cup, League Cup and UEFA Super Cup with Liverpool, stated that Moses' frequent loans made him to conclude that he won't make it at Chelsea.
"Another thing you want a manager to do is improve players – and look at Victor Moses," the former England defender said.
"I never expected him to have a future at Chelsea given he was out on loan so much, and the levels he has shown have taken me by complete surprise.
"He has been excellent in his new role of right wing-back."
Moses looks set to be in action for Chelsea in their away match at Stoke City.
