Enyimba coach, Paul Aigbogun is optimistic his side will overcome the challenge posed by Tunisian giants, Etoile du Sahel and zoom into the lucrative group stage of the CAF Champions League, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The two -time winners of CC L will confront the Sousse- based side in the first leg, second round fixture at their adopted home ground, the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday.
Enyimba defeated Etoile in the final of the competition in 2004 and are determined to go past their highly rated opponent again.
The former Warri Wolves gaffer says his wards are determined to secure their passage to the next round and will give their all to achieve the objective.
"We are going to give the game more than a 100 percent in both legs and I'm very optimistic we shall qualify for the group stage," Aigbogun tells CAFonline.com.
"We are not short of quality players to achieve our lofty aims.
"One good thing about this round is that there are no more unknown teams.
"We can get some details on how our opponent play, just as we are sure they also know much about us.
"We shall approach this encounter as if it is the final of the competition. Our best shot is that we shall put on a good display."
