Scottish champions Celtic are prepared to allow Nigeria defender Efe Ambrose depart the club for free on transfer deadline day.
The Super Eagles star has been frozen out by manager Brendan Rodgers since the former Liverpool coach’s arrival in July.
The Parkhead club had wanted £1million for the defender but are now willing to let him go for free.
Ambrose who is reportedly mulling on a move to Championship side Reading is also seeking a fresh start away from Celtic Park.
According to Daily Record, the 27-year-old who has one year left on his deal has told his agent to find him a club that will pay him around £10,000 a week.
The 2013 African Nations Cup winner who joined Celtic from Ashdod in 2012 has made a total of 169 appearances scoring six times.
