Monaco new boy Nacer Chadli says he is ready to do all he can to help the club win trophies. The Belgian had his move confirmed from West Brom on Thursday on a three-year-deal for an undisclosed fee and could go straight into the squad for Saturday’s visit of Marseille.
Les Monegasques appear a team in transition after another busy summer of incomings and outgoings, managing just one win from their opening three Ligue 1 fixtures.
However, they remain amongst the teams most likely to challenge Paris Saint-Germain and after impressing at this summer’s World Cup, Chadli is confident he can play a big part in their quest for silverware.
“I am very happy to join AS Monaco, a great French club that participates in the Champions League,” the 29-year-old said.
“The results of the last seasons prove the quality of the project and the ambition of the club. I will do everything to help AS Monaco achieve great things and achieve its goals.”
