By Johnny Edward: Home Eagles coach, Salisu Yusuf, has made a big call in his starting lineup for the 2018 African Nations Championship final against Morocco By dropping his most experienced striker, Anthony Okpotu, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
In Okpotu’s place Okechukwu Gabriel who has scored two goals so far in the tournament will lead the attack and he will be flanked by Peter Eneji and Emeka Ogbuh.
Eneji will be making his first appearance in the tournament since recovering from an ankle injury he sustained in Abuja.
According to Completesportsnigeria.com sources, Eneji was impressive in training and showed no signs of injury prior to tonight’s final.
In midfield, Gift Atuloma, Rabiu Ali and Dayo Ojo have been deployed in a three man midfield.
While in defence, Stephen Eze, Kalu Orji will partner in the heart of the Home Eagles defence while Osas Okoro and Udoh will play as full backs.
