The home-based Super Eagles have departed for Ouagadougou ahead of Sunday’s African Nations Championship second leg qualifying fixture against Burkina Faso.

The team comprising 24 players and 12 officials which was led by the 2nd Vice-President, Nigeria Football Federation, Shehu Dikko, alongside Chairman Technical Committee, Felix Anyansi Agwu, Deputy Secretary General, Emmanuel Ikpeme; Deputy Director Communications, Ayobola Oyeyode and assistant Director of Communications, Ademola Olajire, left the Port Harcourt International Airport aboard an Ariz Air aircraft at around 7.38 pm on Friday.
Key members of the side like Gbolahan Salami, Chima Akas, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Bature Yaro, Paul Onobi and Chisom Chikatara are among those who made the trip to the Burkina Faso capital.
Completesportsnigeria.com scooped that the Eagles will have a feel of the August 4 Stadium pitch, venue of the game, on Saturday evening.
The match will commence at 4pm (5pm Nigeria time) on Sunday.
Nigeria won the first leg 2-0 courtesy of strikes by Bature Yaro and Gbolahan Salami.
