Cherries long time target has been on the spotlight and is enjoying attention from big clubs. Bournemouth faces a battle with some high-profile rivals for the services of Gent playmaker Giorgi Chakvetadze. The 19-year-old came through the youth team at Dinamo Tbilisi before making the move to Belgium in 2017, where he has continued his improvement and caught the eye of a number of watching clubs.
As well as the Cherries, both Tottenham and Catalan giants Barcelona are also interested in the 19-year-old. On the face of it, the chances of Eddie Howe’s team winning the race appear slim but they will be able to offer him a greater chance of first-team football than he would get at either of the other clubs interested. The cherries might be forced to up their game if they every want to get a chance of landing the signature of the young talent.
