West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez Chicharito is targeting a move away from the club in the January transfer window, according to reports. The 30-year-old is in his second season with the Hammers but, after making 28 Premier League appearances last term, has enjoyed only limited playing time in 2018-19.
The Mexico international has enjoyed 10 league outings, but with just three starts, finding the net on three occasions to date, including a brace as they beat Newcastle 3-0 at St James’ Park on Saturday.
It remains to be seen whether or not the weekend’s exploits have given manger Manuel Pellegrini a nudge in the right direction, but a report by El Gol Digital claims the former Manchester United and Real Madrid hitman wants to leave the London Stadium in the winter window.
