Nigeria youngster and Manchester City star, Chidiebere Nwakali has donated 12 pairs of boots, 22 track suits and two sets of jerseys to his former club, ASJ Football Academy, reports Completesportsnigeria.com. The 20-year-old defensive midfielder who is currently featuring as Loanee for Sogndal of Norway used the opportunity of the current summer holidays to visit the academy from where he made his breakthrough in 2013. ASJ academy, based in Eziobodo, his home town, has produced the likes of Chidiebere's younger brother Kelechi Nwakali, Chukwudi Agor, among others. "Chidiebere was a special guest at our training ground on Tuesday," Emeka Amajiriaku, chief executive officer of ASJ told Completesportsnigeria.com on Wednesday evening. "You know he is on holidays and decided to come around. "Surprisingly, we received a pleasant surprise from him as he donated 12 pairs of football boots, two sets of jerseys and 22 tracksuits to the academy. "He said it was his own way of giving back to the society especially recognising the institution from where he made his career break.
