Nigerian forward, Chisom Chikatara failed to make his debut as expected for his new club Wydad Casablanca as they suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Egyptian side, Al Ahly, in a CAF Champions League Group A match on Wednesday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The former Abia Warriors striker made Wydad's 20- man squad for the away game, but was not included in the starting line up nor a substitute role.
Rami Rabia scored the winning goal for Al Ahly few minutes after the half-time.
It was Ahly's first win of the Group stage and it boosted their chances of making it to the last four.
