Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah was on target for Liaoning Hongyun in their 2-1 home win against Chongqing Lifan in the Chinese Super League on Saturday.
It was Liaoning Hongyun's second league win after nine games this season.
Ujah scored in the eighth minute to put Liaoning 1-0 up.
Jie Ding equalised for Chongqing in the 59th minute but James Chamanga's 71st minute penalty, sealed the win for Liaoning.
Ujah has now scored two goals in six appearances for Liaoning this current campaign.
The win takes Liaoning to 10th position on 10 points in the league table.
