Chipolopolo Coach Nyirenda: Nigeria’s Antics Can’t Stop Zambia

Chipolopolo Coach Nyirenda: Nigeria’s Antics Can’t Stop Zambia

Chipolopolo of Zambia coach Wedson Nyirenda has stated that his team will overcome every trick that might be used by Nigeria in next weekend’s Group B FIFA 2018 World Cup Russia qualifier in Uyo.

The Super Eagles top African qualifying Group B on 10 points, while Zambia are second on seven points.

A win for the Eagles will seal qualification for next year’s FIFA Cup in Russia.

But Nyirenda stated that his players will draw inspiration from their impressive 1-0 away win against Algeria in Constantine.

“We have already started working on our players’ mentality,” Nyirenda told zamfoot.

“They (Nigeria) will throw everything at us, They will use all the tricks in the book so that they have it easy but looking at our players, they have come of age.

“In Algeria, the environment on the pitch was hostile despite the good hospitality, but they (Chipolopolo) held their own.”

Nyirenda posited that Zambia will do everything possible to qualify.

He said: “Chances are still there. We will just get on that pitch for one thing – qualifying to Russia 2018.”

Nyirenda explained why Zambia chose Ghana ahead of the big clash against the Super Eagles.

He added:”The plan was to camp the team in Europe but now we will camp in Ghana which is closer to Nigeria. What’s important is how we work on the pitch and not the environment.”

When we beat them he’ll say his country is much smaller than Nigeria, and his boys much younger and inexperienced, bla bla bla..

I’ve never read so much bragging from a coach, like this Wedson Chirenda of Zambia. It must be a sign of fear. What does he mean by Nigeria’s “antics?” Nigeria plays football on the pitch, and we’re not the type of people that put ju-ju in visitors’ hotel rooms that the Cameroonians dreaded, went to a different hotel, and then lost heavily. This Zambian coach has also not explained why they did not camp in Europe as he earlier boasted, but are now eating humble pie and staying in Ghana. The next thing you’ll read is that it was Nigeria that prevented them from going to Europe. I said it before, they have no money for such expenses. And I believe the Zambian Football Association is wiser than the coach. They must have felt it would be a waste of funds before facing eventual defeat.

Yes, obviously, his rantings are signs of defeat definitely staring at him and his team. He should learn from Cameroon and pray for slim defeat but not dream what is not possible. Enough time of this bragging.

diz coach too tawk sef!!! This is d more reason while we should not even luz to them o.kuz he will start claiming dat his small team defeated the super eagles.so let’s beat dem well to make another statement, just like d cameroun match.

I’m wondering why he has refused to use his energy tactically and technically. Still waiting to see if it’s media or boastful utterances with do the work on the pitch for him. Can’t wait to see his countenance after 90mins when super eagles would’ve shown them where they belong in Uyo.

This Zambian coach is already looking for excuse for Zambia defeat in Uyo. What does he mean by the word “antics” as regards this match? The spirit of common errors will make Zambia loose heavily in Jesus name.Amen and Amen. Nothing less than 4 unreplied goals, mark my words!!.They (Zambia) will even score an own-goal in this encounter come October the 7th,next week Saturday by God’s grace.

We all must pick two or three lessons from Zambia Coach attitude. I think Africa people must learn to think right. Juju mentality is major factor why Africa backwardness in technology and in the World of Science is more visible than others continents. Africa’s brain power must and should be activated to compete with other continents.

Zambia choach, umh! The word of you mouth as made Onyeagoro Johnson Chima to invoke The spirit of common errors upon your team and even give you a free gift of an own goal.
My advice to this choach is that after Nigeria’s victory come oct 7 he should shun the press including Zamfoot and Supersport cause we all wait to see your response after you are being defeated.
I have no advice for you but as Onyeagoro Johnson Chima as said it will be four unreplied goals and I dnt need an own goal but if it comes shame to where it comes from.

Take it or leave it Nigeria 4 v 0 Zambia

The Yorubas will say ”omo ti oba leko ati ita ni won ti ma ko wa” A child that lacks home traing will be trained from outside. And that place of training for Zambia is Uyo. An empty tank sound anyhow

  • I’ll also want to hear his comments after his so-called team has been trashed 6-0 in Uyo. Empty barrel,I won’t be surprised if he accuses Nigeria of using jazz.

Super Eagle roasted lions of Cameroon for Salah, which was really palatable. Zambians did not learn from Cameroonians. I am expecting Eagles to make crocodile or whatever they call them as a Suya meat or Asun for Nigeria independence day. However, can’t wait for Nigeria to beat Zambia on the 7th of October October 7th insha Allah. God bless Nigeria!!!
