Reports that Manchester City plan to build an additional training facility in London are being dismissed by senior club sources.
Club chiefs are said to be interested in developing a smaller version of the £200m Etihad Campus in the south of England to give their squad a better chance to prepare for fixtures when they travel down for games in London.

It is alleged City’s wealthy owners liked the idea of Pep Guardiola’s squad being able to train away from prying eyes and also avoid staying in expensive hotels, as they do at their impressive Manchester base.
City insiders, however, have insisted that while the club’s executives are always looking at ways to give the Manchester giants an extra edge over their Premier League rivals, they are not currently looking at building a secondary training facility.
The Citizens are presently focused on plans to create a state-of-the-art complex for Uruguayan sister club Atletico Torque, part of their wider City Football Group.
Meanwhile, France left-back Benjamin Mendy has had a further check-up in Barcelona following the recent operation to repair his damaged knee miniscus, which is expected to keep him sidelined for around three months.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
