Bosses at Manchester City have reportedly been approached by Mexican outfit Club Atlas about a possible future playing tie-up. The South Americans are keen to exchange coaching ideas and also afford some of their players a future route into Europe, with the EPL champions already active on that continent at Uruguayan team Club Atletico Torque.

It’s not known if Atlas are looking to become a part of the City Football Group, which also includes New York City FC, Melbourne City FC, Yokohama Marinos and La Liga side Girona.
Atlas’ sporting president is former Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez, who played under Pep Guardiola at the Nou Camp.
The pair enjoyed a decent working relationship although it’s understood Marquez has also floated the same idea to Barcelona’s executives in recent weeks.
The Manchester side are poised to announce a club venture in China but the the opportunity to get a first look at some of the brightest prospects in Mexico will certainly be of interest to director of football Txiki Begiristain, who also has a good rapport with Marquez.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
