Super Eagles 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying group opponents, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, were thrashed 4-0 by Colombia in an international friendly in Spain on Tuesday.
Cameroon were reduced to 10 men following the sending off of Ndip Tambe in the 47th minute.
Real Madrid star James Rodriguez gave Colombia a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute before Yerry Mina made it 2-0 in the 31st minute.
In the 52nd minute, Mina got on the score sheet again to make it 3-0, while Jose Izquierdo completed the rout in the 85th minute.
In October 2012, Colombia defeated Cameroon 3-0 in another friendly.
Cameroon defeated Colombia 2-1 in the round 16 of the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy.
Also at the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup in France, Cameroon pipped Colombia 1-0 in the semi-final.
Cameroon will be guests to the Super Eagles on matchday three of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Uyo in August.
