1. Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox

Why: The White Sox have been sharper on both sides of the ball lately. The Tigers are still figuring things out, and unless their starters pull off something special, Chicago’s bats should have the upper hand. It might not be flashy, but it looks like a solid W for the Sox.
2. Minnesota Twins vs. Houston Astros
Prediction: Houston Astros to win
Why: This one feels tilted toward Houston. The Astros have more firepower, plain and simple. The Twins could make it close if their bullpen holds, but I’d trust the Astros lineup in clutch moments. They usually don’t miss when it counts.
3. Chicago Cubs vs. San Diego Padres
Prediction: San Diego Padres to win
Why: The Padres are just deeper right now. The Cubs have energy, but San Diego has the arms and experience to control the tempo. Unless the Cubs get a hot start, I think the Padres grind this one out, maybe late in the game.
4. Philadelphia Phillies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
Prediction: Los Angeles Dodgers to win
Why: Let’s be real—when the Dodgers are clicking, they’re tough to beat. Philly’s got some fight, but LA’s rotation and lineup are just too stacked. Expect power hitting, maybe even a big inning or two. Dodgers take it.
5. Kansas City Royals vs. Baltimore Orioles
Prediction: Baltimore Orioles to win
Why: The Orioles have been one of those sleeper teams that just quietly get the job done. The Royals? Still rebuilding. If Baltimore’s bullpen doesn’t implode, they should walk away with this one.
6. Texas Rangers vs. Tampa Bay Rays
Prediction: Tampa Bay Rays to win
Why: The Rays just know how to win tight games, especially at home. The Rangers can hit, but Tampa Bay’s pitching and small-ball mindset gives them the edge. Expect a chess match—low scoring, but clean.

Why: Okay, not the flashiest matchup—but someone’s gotta win. The Rockies look slightly better on paper and usually hit well at home. Oakland’s still struggling to find rhythm. I’ll roll with Colorado in a scrappy one.
