Undefeated Northern Irishman Michael Conlan will fight on the undercard of the big Carl Frampton-Josh Warrington showdown in December. Conlan will take on an as-yet unnamed opponent in Manchester on December 22 as one of the build-up fights to the eagerly-awaited Frampton versus Warrington meeting.
The Super Bantamweight rising star has won his nine pro fights so far and stopped Nicola Cipolletta in round seven in Las Vegas over the weekend to earn a place on the Frampton undercard.
Micheal trains with fellow countryman Frampton and says he can’t wait to fight on the same night as ‘The Jackal’, while fellow Belfast fighters Paddy Barnes and Steven Ward will also feature on the night.
“I am really excited to be fighting on the same card as my stablemate and friend, Carl Frampton,” He said.
“I am looking to step up in class and reach 10-0 as a pro by Christmas. The Conlan Revolution rolls into Manchester!”
