Coach of SC Contantine of Algeria, Gomes Da Rose has boasted that his team will beat Nasarawa United silly In the return leg to qualify for the next phase. Of the CAF Confederation Cup, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Speaking after his team lost 1-0 to Nasarawa United in the first leg at the Abuja National stadium, Da Rose said that there was no way Nasarawa will survive in Algeria, adding that they would hit the Nigerians real hard and move on in the competition.
"With over 40,000 of our fans behind us and a favorable weather too, we are sure to beat the Nigerians very well and and qualify. The officiating was not good for us (in Abuja), and with one player down, I think we did well to keep the scoreline very low. Your team should forget it because we shall win well in Algeria," Da Rose told Completesportsnigeria.com after the match.
"We shall prepare very well for your team in the return leg. The truth remains that we underrated your team based on the dossier we had about them. The second leg will be a different thing because we now know them well and will take the battle to them," Da Rose reiterated.
