Copa Lagos: Pepsi Academy’s Adebayo Wins MVP Vs Enyimba

Pepsi Football Academy youngster, Ajao Adams Adebayo has been named as the Most Valuable Player, MVP, in the opening match of the 2016 Copa Lagos Beach Soccer tournament, reports Completesportsnigeria.com

Adebayo, an Office  Technology and Management student of Kwara State Polytechnic, is making his debut in the Copa Lagos tournament.

The MVP plaque was presented to him by Sola Aiyepeku, Special Adviser Chawman, Lagos State Sports Commission.

A happy Adebayo poured out his heart to Completesportsnigeria.com moments after receiving his MVP award.

"I'm happy, to be noticed and selected as most valuable player of the match against Enyimba. It is something I've to be grareful to God for.

"I've not played in Copa Lagos before. That is due to my academic pursuit, but I've been playing friendly beach soccer games with Pepsi.

"I see this as a motivation and I commend the organisers of this tournament," Adebayo stated.
