Croatia List Modric, Rakitic, Mandzukic For Peru, Mexico Friendlies

By Adeboye Amosu: Real Madrid and Barcelona midfielders Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic top the list of 29 players invited by Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalic on Monday for this month’s friendly fixtures against Peru and Mexico, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Croats, who will play in Group D along with Nigeria, Argentina and Iceland at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, will face Peru in Miami on March 23rd and then take on Mexico in Texas four days later.
Modric and Rakitic are joined on the list by the likes of Vedran Corluka, Dejan Lovren,  Mario Mandzukic and Ivan Perisic.
Other notable names invited by Dalic for the games are Mateo Kovacic, Daniel Subasic, Marcelo Brozovic and Milan Badelj.
Dalic’s men will face the Super Eagles in their opening fixture at the 2018 FIFA World Cup on June 16 at the Kaliningrad Stadium.
