He scored a brace in his club’s 3-1win against Beijing Renhe in midweek.

Ighalo has now scored eight goals in his last eight league appearances for Changchun Yatai.

The former Watford striker has now matched the 15 goals he scored in 27 league outings for Changchun Yatai last season.

In another Chinese Super League game played on Saturday, Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi made a return to Tiajin Teda’s line-up in their 1-1 home draw with Jiangsu Suning.

Mikel had missed Tiajin Teda’ previous five league games due to injury.

He played the entire duration of the game proving his fitness after last featuring for the club against Chongqing Dangdai on July 21.

Eder Martins gave Jiangsu Suning FC the lead against the run of play in the 19th minute of the game but Hao Guo drew Tianjin TEDA in the 37th minute to hand them a crucial point.

Tinajin TEDA are now sixth in the Chinese Super League with 26 points from 19 games.

Mikel and his teammates will host Beijing Guoan FC next Saturday. He has made 13 appearances so far this term scoring just one goal.

The 31 year old is expected to be named in Nigeria’s squad to face Seychelles in next month’s African Cup Of Nations.

Interesting, you have a way of getting back to the national team only to let us down over and over again.
Please do us a favour, kindly call it a day with the national team. You have served in your own capacity for a while now but rather to cause your country more heartbreak why not quit and we shall all be glad you did.
Anyway I wish you more powers to your elbow.keep scoring for Chanchung Yatai and rightfully earn your wages.
May God bless you and may God bless Nigeria which includes it’s enemies Dalung and Chris Giwa.

IGhalo 4 goals in 22 games for the Super Eagles. He can score against the Chinese but cannot do it at international or even African level. One goal in five games for the Super easgles is not good enough at international level when you are striker.
