Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo could not replicate his scoring form of last weekend for Changchun Yatai who lost 1-0 away to Liaoning Hongyun in the Chinese Super League on Sunday.
Ighalo featured for 90 minutes for Changchun Yatai, but failed to rescue at least a point for them, while Anthony Ujah was not listed for Liaoning Hongyun.
The only goal of the game was scored by Christian Bekamenga in the 65th minute for Liaoning Hongyun.
The defeat means Changchun Yatai are now 10th in the 16-team Chinese topflight league table.
Liaoning Hongyun occupy the 14th spot in the table with 16 points.
Ighalo has so far scored eight goals in 16 appearances for Changchun Yatai this season.
