u no get talk…
I prefer Sadiq umar and junior lokosa,Ighalo went absolutely quiet against the likes of serbia and poland.Scored only 1 goal in wc qualifier, and this goals he is scoring are in china, don’t get me wrong cos i know ighalo is our inform cf right now,am not just sure about him.
@fiyesimi, what was non-existent in that match was not Ighalo but our midfield. When the midfield is dead, there’s nothing the attack would do because strikers would be forced to fall deep to retrieve the ball instead of facing the business of scoring goals. You would notice he excelled in 1v1 situations and even almost got a goal even while still on the ground against Serbia. Praying for Mikel to be fit for the world cup. He easily spots holes in opposing team’s defence and knows how to find his strikers. Remember our first goal against Cameroon by Ighalo. That kind of intelligent passes are what strikers need to score goals. Even with all those you mentioned, without a functioning midfield, we will end up struggling to get goals.
@papafem you are absolutely right, there was no creativity.Only Mikel and Etebo that can give us that creativity at that world cup and i hope they are both fit.
Nice one ighalo scored a brace and Simy scored a brace as well very good..
Now you are talking!
7 goals in 8 games. This guy is proving himself. Hope the commentators in this forum are watching. Some said they will support him if he is consistent. We already have a worthy No. 9. All he needs is supplys from the midfield. I will say no more for now so that those who love to use ghetto language in this forum will not begin to spew bitterness again. Up Ighalo. Up Super Eagles!
Bomboy, l am loving Ighalo the way and manner he is banging in the GOALS. 7 in 8 is attracting the attentions of people everywhere. Lord, let our Ighalo continues to bang in more Goals for his Team in China so that we may have the singular joy of calling him our own. Nigerians loves ‘ Winner’.
My Father in heaven thank you so much for what you are doing through our players in their various clubs, I am so grateful thank you. I just ask for one more thing Lord please let all our players required to prosecute this 2018 World Cup be fit! In Jesus name… Amen!
Congratulations Ighalo. Keep scoring goals, that’s what I wants from you. We all wants the best from you. God bless Nigeria!!!
I watched the goals…
This guy is a goal machine and he is blessed with amazing dribbling skills.
Now super eagles fans can go to sleep comfortably knowing that there is a particular ighalo who will get the job done in Russia
