Czech Defender Eyes Win Over Super Eagles After Australia Disgrace

Czech Defender Eyes Win Over Super Eagles After Australia Disgrace

By Adeboye Amosu:

Czech Republic defender Marek Suchy says the team will strive to make amends for last Friday’s 4-0 demolition at the hands of Australia when they face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in today’s ( Wednesday) friendly encounter in Austria, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Karel Jarolim’s men were totally outplayed by the Australians in the encounter.

They will be desperate to make up for that setback against the Super Eagles who are also without a win in their last two games.

The 30-year-old admitted that the defeat, the heaviest in the history of the team, still hurts.

“We spoke about it, we talked about it with the trainers, the defeat still hurts, but we train and try to tune in to a more positive note,” the FC Basle centre-back told tyden.cz.

“We are thinking of the next match (against Nigeria)  and we are looking forward to it because we have to redeem our image.”

Rohr is one the best coaches in the world, this just a friendly match, pls guys don’t take this game serious, this team is going all the way. We have Iheanacho, Iwobi, Agu, Ezenwa, Echiejile, Musa , Joel and Onazi.Amokachi is tight Nigeria is winning this World Cup.

  • My friends, I am beginning to think we will loose 2 out of our 3 group matches, if this is how we are going to play at Russia.
Why must we always conceded first?
It is becoming clear that believing we might win the world cup is nothing but a codeine induced hallucination.

  • These guys are heart breakers!!!

  • on 16 shall tell watch and see…

Cj, no shaking in Rohr we trust, remember Rohr is mr perfect

I’ve lost my confidence in this team. Am heartbroken. I don’t think we gonna pass through the group stage but all the same wishing them all the best in Russia

  • It’s either Rohr us losing on purpose, or he is trying to confirm for sure that the only possible winning formation is the 3-5-2 and he will then stick to it.

Any possible exanation why we loose winnable matches is beyond my understanding.

And before anybody will tell that the dream team lost to Togo in their final match before Atlanta 96, lets8 be clear here, the dream team were matured players in their prime, most played in the USA 94 World cup, but these present Eagles are average players and young lads whose confidence can be battered by these series of loses.

At this level all I can do to spare myself an imminent heart attack is expectation management.

I would rather be surprised in excitement that be heart broken in disappointment

    Good luck SE,
    Good luck fans alike.

Stop using Shehu,  forget fasting. Sadie Mane fasted, salad fasted. Let’s stop killing  fans heart. Use our best 11. No shehu, I prefer old aina more than shehu, now you playing shehu all game.  He’s not good.

One thing is clear from all these games. All other formations besides 3-5-2 used by Rohr don’t work. I don’t understand why he doesn’t get it. If he try any other nonsense formations in the world cup he should be fired
