Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has revealed this week that his growing comfort with the English language has aided his growth as a goalkeeper at Man United.
De Gea has been in outstanding form and arguably the clubs player of the season so far, with many wanting to know the secret behing the Spaniards meteoric rise.

For De Gea, its simple, the former Atletico Madrid man told Man United’s official site that being comfortable with the language in England has helped communication and subsequently his form.
“I actually think the biggest impact is when you are in the dressing room. You need it (the language) on the field as well, of course, but you need it in the dressing room,” De Gea stated.
“I think the fact that I have started to do interviews in English has really helped as well, it has helped me to learn more of the language as well.”
The proof is in the pudding in terms of De Gea”s claims with the goal-keeper visibly growing in stature as a Man United keeper as his presence is now felt in his penalty area.
