Dedevbo: How We Tamed Korea

Coach of the Falconets Peter Dedevbo has explained how is team were able to overcome a very good South Korean side in their second game of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada which they won 2-1.

Speaking after the match, the former Flamengo handler said: “We are happy with the victory. Before the match I explained to my girls the kind of football that Korea plays, the ‘tiki taka’ and that we couldn’t play like that.

“We needed to be fast, and that’s the way we played. After the draw against Mexico I was a little bit disappointed, but it was just the first match.”

He stated further that the win against South Korea will boost the confidence of his players ahead of their game against England on Wednesday.
