Wolfsburg defender Jeffrey Bruma could be on the move after reports claimed Scottish champions Celtic are keen to sign him. The closure of the summer transfer window is fast approaching and one deal that could happen before the deadline passing is Bruma to the Hoops.
The Netherlands international is understood to have been informed he is surplus to requirements at the Volkswagen Arena and Wolfsburg are keen to cash in.
Celtic are interested in picking up the defender with Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers having worked with Bruma while at Chelsea, and a fee of £7million could win the day.
Bruma came through the youth ranks at the English Premier League side, working under Rodgers for a spell, and has since gone on to play for Leicester, PSV Eindhoven and Hamburg.
Rodgers is in need of defensive reinforcements as Dedryck Boyata is expected to move on and he is ready to splash the cash to add Bruma to his ranks.
