Manchester United’s injury problems under Louis van Gaal continued as Angel di Maria was forced off in the 14th minute against Hull City.
Di Maria’s knock was Manchester United’s 41st different injury of the season since the Dutchman took over the reins at Old Trafford.
The Argentine international, who revealed in an exclusive interview with Sportsmail that he was hoping to rediscover his early season form in the build up to Manchester United’s match against Hull, was replaced by Ander Herrera.
Di Maria pulled up in the 11th minute but tried to carry on before eventually being replaced by Herrera.
The Premier League’s record signing clutched his hamstring before heading straight down the tunnel.
Van Gaal will be hoping Di Maria’s injury is not too serious as he is already without the likes of Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Phil Jones.
